| When dealing with the medical needs of a small cattery it is necessary to become
quite assertive. This attitude places us on the side of "prevention" which is much more comfortable than
"treatment". Thankfully, our husbandry skills are well developed and practiced through our small
farm.
Our kittens are wormed the first time at six weeks with
the use of Strongid. This followed up again ten days later as needed.

(available at Entirely Pets)
Our kittens begin the vaccination regime at eight weeks with
the administration of Fel-O Vax PCT killed virus. That is followed by another vaccine at eleven weeks. We do
not administer Leukemia vaccines unless requested by the new parents.

( vaccines available at
Revival Animal Health)
All of our kittens are treated with "Advantage" for ongoing
flea control. We keep this regime year round as a preventative.
